We took our lunch break here from our Cologne tour. Although the waitress was very busy in the full outdoor area, she was super friendly. The beer and food were very good. We'll be happy to come back on our next tour.

Always a good address if you are in the city center and want to eat something or just drink a few Kölsch. The kitchen is good and the service is friendly. What more do you want.

It took a little longer until the first waitress came, but you should expect that in a restaurant on Saturday evening. I was very satisfied with the food, drinks, service and price / performance ratio.

Everything is really right here. The lunch table is tasty, fast, lots and cheap. The Sion is ice cold as it should be. The waitresses are authentically friendly and very accommodating. Attention is paid to cleanliness and disinfection. Exemplary! It will definitely be our new regular location! Very small drawback: It would be great if you could find the daily lunch menu on the homepage.

Very good lunch today ... Sauerbraten with spaetzle and apple sauce. Before that a good soup and all for a more than fair price. Extremely nice service! If I am in Cologne again I will definitely come back. 😁

I know very well how is the German hospitality, I go to Germany often, and i love sitting in this places have a few beers and something to eat, but in this place I have found only bad education, nothing more, this guy working behind the bar start talking to me in german , on my request to speak in english said something loufing about me to other clients that were there, even they were quite imbarassed and looked at him in a strange way, only person kind in the place was the young waitresse, wich apologized about the guy, sorry but I travel a lot and this is probably the worste place I have found so far, shame because koln is a beautiful city with beautiful people and places, I wouldn't go back here not even for free

The prices of bier are ok, but the food is around 30% more expensive. The Schnitzel that I had was not from a good part of the meat, I could feel some nerves, and the texture is not so nice as well. When I was there, there wasn't enough unites of Menu, my friend and I had to divide the same Menu. It wasn't crowded and the food took around 30 minutes to arrive.

Good kolsch, and huge meals which were pretty good & good value. Got charged for 2 extra kolsch than we had, suspected was because we’re tourists, but it wasn’t that much so we just left it. Just keep an eye out but otherwise not bad.

Portion sizes could feed an army. Good experience.

Somehow you can't drink tea in the afternoon. I thought it was always time for tea... Also, a women at our table specifically asked for a flammkuchen without onion for health reasons but received one with onions.

Honestly just not very good. Service took long, couldn't order coffee or tea, noticed lots of orders on our table going wrong.

Good fast service, the Kölsch was cold and the food was delicious. We liked it very much.

Unfortunately food not tasty (too salted, too fat, too artificial) like on bars in pertol station. Price too expensive for this kind of meals. Inside restauration peoples smoke.

The Gertudenhof is one of the gastronomic attractions in Cologne. Here are shown on several TV's sports broadcasts, such as football Bundesliga via Sky. The staff are very friendly, the service is fast, the food is lush and delicious, the atmosphere, the climate is pleasant and relaxed. When the house is full, there is even a family atmosphere. Quickly arise here with other guests and no one is standing or sitting alone for a long time. In this restaurant, the open-minded mentality of Cologne is lived.

I asked for a mussels pasta and the smell was to not fresh seafood at all, indeed, the smell was to something bad. The other food was quite plain. Maybe, this is more a place to go for having a drink and that's all. I don't understand how this place can had a 4.3 score in Google by the time I went there.

Pork shank with sauerkraut and mash ... delicious ..... and homemade. Ditto for the veal cutlet with potatoes and mushrooms. We enjoyed ourselves and in addition it is well served.

This is my second time eating here and I have been looking forward to our return. Food was great however our waitress was exceptionally rude. I have a Debit MasterCard and was told that I am wrong and that it is a credit card and will have to charge 3% instead of 1%. I really don't care about the 3% but I don't expect to be told that I am lying and incorrect about my own bank account. Please speak to your 'Bank Card Expert' as this is pretty much a stain on my Cologne visit and your customers don't deserve to spoken to like this.
